About SchoolBudi

SchoolBudi is a wellbeing platform designed to help schools understand, measure and improve children's mental health every day.

Schools care deeply about children's emotional wellbeing, yet until now they have had very few ways of measuring it. They rely on observations, conversations and instinct, but without consistent data it can be difficult to know whether children are genuinely thriving, whether interventions are working or which pupils may need additional support.

SchoolBudi changes that.

Through a simple daily mood check-in, children are given the opportunity to share how they are feeling in a way that is quick, safe and easy. Every check-in helps children feel noticed, reminding them that the adults around them genuinely care about how they are doing.

For children who need more support, SchoolBudi makes asking for help easier. At the point of check-in, pupils can request a conversation with a trusted adult, allowing them to self-identify before worries become overwhelming.

For teachers

SchoolBudi provides an instant overview of the emotional wellbeing of every class. Teachers can see not only how individual children are feeling, but also how the class is doing as a whole, with an overall wellbeing score and clear trends developing over time.

The platform helps teachers recognise patterns such as:

  • children whose wellbeing is gradually declining
  • pupils who consistently struggle on certain days of the week
  • changes across the school term
  • the emotional impact of key events, holidays and transitions
  • pupils who may benefit from additional support before difficulties become more significant.

Alongside this insight, SchoolBudi provides practical classroom resources including CBT-informed activities, movement breaks and therapeutic exercises that help teachers build calmer, happier and emotionally healthier classrooms.

For senior leaders and SENDCos

SchoolBudi transforms thousands of individual check-ins into meaningful, actionable data.

School leaders can explore wellbeing across year groups, classes and key pupil groups, identifying themes that would otherwise remain hidden. The platform can help schools monitor trends relating to anxiety, neurodivergence, trauma and other emotional needs, allowing support to be targeted where it will have the greatest impact.

The data can also support EHCP reviews, wellbeing strategies, funding applications, governor reports and conversations with parents by providing objective evidence of children's emotional wellbeing over time.

Perhaps most importantly, SchoolBudi enables schools to evaluate whether the support they are providing is actually making a difference.

More than mood tracking

SchoolBudi is designed to become a complete wellbeing platform.

Schools can access:

  • expert CPD from therapists, psychologists, parent coaches and child hypnotherapists
  • practical mental health resources
  • child-friendly wellbeing information
  • opportunities for pupils to self-advocate and seek support
  • access to mental health professionals for consultation when needed
  • future wellbeing services that can evolve alongside the individual needs of each school.

Why SchoolBudi?

Schools invest enormous time, care and resources into supporting children's mental health, but until now there has been no simple way to measure whether those efforts are having the desired impact.

SchoolBudi fills that gap.

From the very first day children begin checking in, schools gain meaningful information about something they have always wanted to understand: how their pupils are really feeling.

Instead of relying solely on instinct, schools can combine their professional judgement with clear, live wellbeing data, helping them make better decisions, deliver more targeted support and create happier, healthier school communities.

Our vision is simple.

To help every school understand children's mental health as clearly as they understand attendance, behaviour and attainment, because when emotional wellbeing is visible, it becomes easier to protect, nurture and improve.
